As you are in master mode, I recommend to create your new own administrator user, going in Configuration -> User, writing your email address to create the new user.
User can :
- Edit files
- Add/Remove stored data
- Test & Deploy
Administrator can also :
- Modify data structure
- Change deployment parameters
- Add new users
Master (when you connect using "config.ini" login & password) can also :
- Create a new project
As administrator, go to Configuration -> Zeek and click on Enable. You will enter in a new mode with explanations how to use it. You have to simply declare your data structure and validate it.
To validate, you will have to go down the page and click on the button Validate. All changes will be proceed after clicking on this button.
You also can modify the structure when you want by going back to Configuration -> Zeek and clicking on Modify.
Modifying the structure by adding new attributes won't alter any data stored. However, deleting an attribute containing stored datas will remove all these datas. All changes will be proceed after clicking the Validate button.
When creating a new project, all the projects file are stored in the directory :
By clicking on "Test" : all the project files are actually copied into a specific user directory :
By clicking on "Deploy" : all the project files are finally copied into a specific user directory :
Moreover, once you have modified a file, the modified file is normally stored in the project directory. But if the user test directory exists, the modified file will also be copied into the user test directory.
So you don't have to click all the time on "Test" button !
You click it once to create the user test directory, then you only have to refresh the test web page! Practical, isn't it?
In test mode, if you develop on Chromium or Firefox : don't hesitate to use Ctrl + Maj + c to enter in development tool box.
